United States History
Mr. Patrick Haley
US History is a required 9th grade class. The class is two semesters in length. We will cover the time period from 1877 until the present day. Greater emphasis will be devoted to the 20th Century. The first semester covers up to World War II, and the second semester covers the time period from 1939 until the present day.
Each student is expected to have a notebook devoted solely to this class. (A 3-ring binder works best.) Below are links to the notes that are given in class. These can be used in case of absence, and so that the student can review information covered at home. These notes are the basic items covered, attendance in class is crucial for success on assignments and tests. Notes will be checked on test dates, and a separate grade is given for clarity and completeness of the notebook.
More notes and information, as well as assignment information will be added to the web site as the semester continues. If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me or call me at 246-1008 ext 2326 between 8:00 -- 9:00 or after 2:45.
