Bears baseball starts season strong

BY MOLLY GUCKIAN

The Roosevelt varsity team has made a strong start this season, with a good beginning record of 8-4, losing only to Redford Union on April 18, Ypsilanti on April 20, Lincoln Park on April 25, and in the New Boston Huron Tournament. In spite of their losses, senior varsity player Tim Kilander believes that the team is off to a great start.

"We are looking pretty good right now," said Kilander.

Coach Brian Cotner believes that the team needs to stay focused to continue their success throughout the season.

"We need to stay focused every single game and coming out [at the beginning of the games] like we need to," said Cotner.
