ROOSEVELT HIGH SCHOOL is located in the quaint, yet artsy community of Wyandotte, Michigan.  Fine Art galleries, monthly 'Third Fridays', and the annual Wyandotte Street Fair during the month of July define the community's awareness in art.

RHS Art Club is an active student organization and chapter of the National Art Honor Society.
First meeting of 2008-9 is September 11th.   Join us!!!


 





 In 2004, a 1973 Saab 96 V4, was transformed and created in honor of
 Wyandotte's Sesquicentennial Celebration.  Myrtle earned third place in the
 Wyandotte parade.   "Myrtle" is covered in pennies, and was inspired
 by Tyree Guyton's vision to create a "Penny House" at the
 Heidelberg Project.  Myrtle has since been donated to the Heidelberg
 Project and is a permanent installation.
